Amazon Fishing Trip

Here reigns sovereign the trairão. The proof of it is that you don’t need to navigate more than 110 yards from the inn to reach the first fishing spot, where you can easily find large specimens that would be every angler´s dream.

 That is due to our strategic location. We are on the border between the Cristalino State Park and the Cachimbo Air Base Reserve – this is a region protected by the Brazilian Air Force, so the fauna and flora are mostly untouched. 

Here we can easily find large numbers of birds and animals, such as monkeys, parrots, parakeets, parrots and all species of macaws, even the rare blue macaws, which make this scenery unique every sunset. 

In contrast to this environment, an immense flooded area was formed by the construction of a Hydroelectric Power Plant, creating a green labyrinth and a tree cemetery. 

In this environment where all the exuberance of nature is mixed with a new habitat formed by human action, a unique and favorable place for Amazonian trairão was born.

The voracity of these giants’ attacks the topwater lures, often with less than half a meter of line in the water, takes your breath away, causes dormant emotions and memories that are deeply embedded in the memory of even the most experienced fisherman.
